Court services are entities independent from the executive (government) and whose main function is managing the courts, handling issues such as caseloads, housing, recruitment, training, and budgeting. In contrast to judicial councils, court services do not generally have a wide range of powers over judicial careers (appointments, promotions, etc.), and their competences are mostly managerial.
